In a time when everyone is quick to complain or find fault – I’d like to take a moment to give praise and a heart felt thank you to Melissa Sweet and all the court house security personnel and judge Richards – all that were part of the jury selection process I recently went through.
The moment I walked in to the court house - there were signs directing the prospective jurors exactly where to go – all the security personnel that we came in contact with thru out the screening process we very professional, respectfully and polite. The process was very well organized and I truly felt the compassion and gratitude they express thru out the day for our patience's with the process.
Jury duty is a very important part of what makes America the greatest place on earth to live – and when the people at the St. Lawrence County courthouse do their job of getting everyone through the process of jury selection – with this much concern and respect for the people involved they deserve a “hats off” for a job well done.
So if and when you get your summons to be called for jury duty – don’t be afraid.
