To the Editor:
This letter is meant to serve in place of the Canton Town Supervisor election sign in support of Mary Ann Ashley that recently disappeared from our property.
The best person for just about any job is a good communicator, transparent, competent, operates with integrity, is humble, and takes their job seriously, but not themselves. Having known Mary Ann Ashley for over thirty years it is with strong conviction that we can say she meets this standard.
Her philosophy is that when a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right. Further, she operates under the premise that all of us are smarter than any of us.
Her guiding principle as a counselor was to do what is right for the children. Her guiding principle as an elected official has been to do what is right for the people.
On Election Day we hope you join us in doing what is right for Canton.
