Experience a taste of fall in the North Country at two distinct open houses in Morley and Madrid Saturday, Oct. 29.
• The Heritage Grist Mill Association will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in Morley. They will be serving free cider and corn bread with maple syrup and will be giving grain grinding demonstrations. They will also show a slideshow of their work.
• Grasse River B Ranch will be having their very first Open House Saturday and are welcoming the public to visit the ranch for cheese tastings, farm and dairy tours and to watch how cheese is made. 8 O'clock Ranch will also be there with a selection of their meats. The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4247 County Rt. 14 just outside of Madrid heading to Chase Mills. For more information, contact 322-4769.
