POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Public Library, 2 Park St., will offer three sessions of “On Your Mark, Get Set, Read Summer Reading Camp” for children ages 5-10.
Sessions are planned July 18-22, Aug. 8-12 and Aug. 22-26, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the library. The camp will explore the lives of heroes, from the extraordinary to the everyday variety.
Two sessions of preschool mini-camp will also run July 6-8 and Aug.17-19.
For the second year, the library will collaborate with the Community Performance Series to present “Camp Mary Poppins.”
The three-day camp, for 9-12 year olds, will be at the library, 10 a.m. noon, July 11-13. Campers will explore variations of P.L Travers’ novel and include time with the actors from CPS’s production and a visit to the set. Space is limited to twenty attendees.
All library camps are free of charge, however, registration is required. Forms are available at http://potsdamlibrary.org or at the library.
