OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation Department will soon begin hiring seasonal workers for the spring and summer months. The department will be looking to hire recreation leaders and lifeguards.
Preference will be given to city residents and previous city employees with satisfactory employment history who are enrolled in college, according to Matthew Curatolo, Parks & Recreation Director for the City of Ogdensburg.
Lifeguards living outside the city, but within the enlarged Ogdensburg City School District, will be considered if Ogdensburg lifeguards are not available.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the Dobisky Center, 100 Riverside Ave. The deadline for applications is April 24 and submissions must include copies of lifeguard certifications and ID as well as proof of college for the fall of 2020 semester.
