OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center employees, family, and friends joined participated in the 14th Gouverneur Breast Cancer Walk.
Claxton-Hepburn had nearly 30 walkers in this year’s event.
Over 1,000 people from St. Lawrence, Lewis and Jefferson counties attended.
This year’s walk raised over $100,000, exceeding their goal of raising over $1 million overall.
The money raised has helped numerous breast cancer patients at Claxton-Hepburn’s Breast Health Center and Richard E. Winter Cancer Center.
