OGDENSBURG -- Two St. Lawrence County Moose Lodge members will receive the organizations highest degree at Sunday event in Ogdensburg.
Stanley Hewlett of Ogdensburg Moose Lodge 814 and Earl E. Cunningham of Moose Lodge 1110, will both receive the Pilgrim Degree of Merit.
Nationwide, only 160 people will receive this honor in 2015.
A special ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge.
Both members will receive gold jackets along in recognition of the award.
Bill Perry, a Former Moose Lodge Administrator said he is very proud that both men will be receiving the award and that it is an extremely rare designation.
He says both men have been very active members of the lodge as well as excellent community servants.
