In response to “Keep Obama” (July 6-12): Perhaps you are the one who isn’t serious. Obama the best President since Clinton? Well, that gives you away as a liberal Democrat. Obama is most definitely not the best president since Clinton; he is the worst president since Carter. Obama has (just to name a few) rammed health care reform down the throats of the American people, run the national debt through the roof, tried (and failed) to fix the economy with billion dollar stimulus packages, and sent more troops to the Middle East (before he started campaigning for 2012 by reducing the number of soldiers). Which brings up another point: The war. “He didn’t start that one either.” Well, how about this: would you really rather have no war and Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden still running around? The comment about electric cars and rebates: well, we all saw how his “Cash for Clunkers” rebate program turned out. Obama has hurt this country infinitely more then he has helped it. So get rid of him come 2012.
