To the Editor:
I moved to this area in 1976, and am proud to call the North Country my home. I’ve never paid much attention to local politics because things always seemed to be fine, and I was comfortable with our leadership.
These times seem different. Stores are emptying out, prices are increasing, our healthcare system is broken, and the general mood is not optimistic. While I realize that some of these issues go beyond the local level; whom we elect will play an important role in how we deal with them as a county.
To that end, I would like to endorse Pat Brady and Amber Spinner for the County Legislature. I believe that they will bring a positive attitude and good work ethic to their positions.
