Faye M. Ori of IYQ Balloon Décor, Norwood, captured first place in a “balloon couture” competition.
Ori attended the Twist and Shout Balloon Convention in Rochester recently.
The convention is a yearly gathering of balloon entertainers, artists and twisters from around the world where participants can attend balloon training, participate in competitions, and learn about new products and ideas in the balloon industry.
Over 200 people from around the world attended the event including entertainers from France, Australia, Japan, Italy, Belgium, Canada and the USA. This was Ori’s first time attending the event and first time entering a balloon competition.
Ori’s work can be seen at IYQ Balloon Décor on Facebook.
