NORWOOD -- Robert Fenton, a biology major with an environmental science concentration from Norwood, was awarded the Stand Energy Prize at Elmira College.
The prize, established by Stand Energy Corporation, recognizes an Elmira student who, in the course of performing an internship with regional businesses or community organizations, has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, creativity, and responsibility.
Fenton was nominated by his supervisor for his internship with Fagan Engineers and Land Surveyors, P.C.
