POTSDAM – A Norfolk woman on Friday was arrested and charged with theft for the third time in two weeks.
Sasha S. Monroe, 23, was arrested for shoplifting at the Potsdam Walmart at 8:19 p.m. Friday. State police said she was charged with petit larceny after she was found by store personnel with batteries and personal grooming products worth $316.93 after she allegedly tried to leave the store with the merchandise hidden in her clothing, according to state police.
On Jan. 3, Monroe was arrested by state police at 841 County Rt. 38, Norfolk, and was charged with trespass and petit larceny.
She was arrested and charged with petit larceny Dec. 30 at the same Norfolk address.
Monroe was issued an appearance ticket on the latest charge is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. in front of Judge Mason.
