NORFOLK — The Norfolk-Norwood Figure Skating Club will hold their 7th annual Skate for Heather’s Hope on Saturday Dec. 1 at the Dominic Zappia Community Center on Clinton Street.
The event is held in memory of Heather Emlaw Planty.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and skating starts at 3 p.m.
All proceeds are donated to the Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund, who use the money to assist men and women who are fighting breast cancer in St. Lawrence, Franklin, Jefferson and Lewis counties.
Watch local skaters demonstrate their skating abilities.
There will be a 50/50, raffle baskets, hot food, bake sale and vendors.
There is no admission cost, donations are accepted at the door.
