SUNY Brockport's David Medina capitalized on a defensive miscue 54 seconds into the second overtime to notch the game's only goal and edge the No. 19 St. Lawrence men's soccer team, 1-0.
Medina picked up the ball just outside the box, deked a defender and fired a high blast that beat sophomore goalkeeper Sean Houston, who was making his first start for St. Lawrence this season.
The Saints, now 3-2 on the season, dominated the play offensively, taking 15 shots and forcing Brockport's Casey Sullivan to make nine saves. Harry Copeland, Ryan Grant and Manny Collins each recorded two shots on goal during the contest.
The team will look to earn a weekend split with a 2 p.m. matchup against the Buffalo State Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
