CANTON – Crews are scheduled to begin night work as part of the state Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) project to rebuild US Route 11 in the Village of Canton.
The nighttime work is expected to begin Monday, Sept. 30 and is expected to be finished by Friday, Oct. 11.
During nighttime operations, motorists should expect to encounter work zones between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Crews will be making final preparations for paving and placing the final layer of asphalt pavement on US Route 11, Main Street in the village.
Motorists should expect minor delays and alternating one-way traffic controlled by flaggers.
