CANTON -- A Newton Falls woman was charged with possession of prison contraband at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility just after being arrested for prostitution earlier this week, according to state police.
Kayla M. Iser-Smith, 26, was charged Sept. 3 with second-degree possession of prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana at 12:42 p.m., troopers said.
The complaint was first reported to police Sept. 1.
Her status was listed as held.
