New playground equipment and sports court coming to Ogdensburg

The City of Ogdensburg is set to receive $799,569 from the state for new playground equipment and a new sports court, the governor's office announced recently. The local funding was part of $4.6 million awarded across several North Country communities, which in turn was part of $67.5 million in grants handed out through New York Places for Learning, Activity, and Youth Socialization (NY PLAYS) for 89 projects to build, expand and renovate public playgrounds across New York State.
