POTSDAM — Royal India Grill is now open.
The eatery, located at 38 Market St., will be open every day from 11:30 to 3 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 until 9 p.m. for dinner.
Owner Aman Chadha, who previously owned Royal India Grill in Syracuse, said he has been planning to open locally for a couple years. The pandemic slowed the process.
He said his first day open (March 8) was busier than he expected, but he enjoyed being busy.
For now, Royal India Grill offers takeout and dine-in options, but no delivery unless it is for a catered event.
A buffet is available daily for lunch, and as a special for Monday dinner.
Chadha says chicken marsala has been a favorite dish of diners.
