Nearly 2,300 National Grid customers were still without power this morning, following a major windstorm that swept throughout St. Lawrence County Friday.
Trees and power lines were downed as torrential rain and very strong winds hit the area. It could have been worse. The National Weather Service had issued a tornado watch through late Friday night.
This morning power outages remained throughout many areas of the county. National Grid predicts electricity will be restored to most locations today by noon.
Areas with the most outages as of 9 a.m. included:

Colton with 141
DeKalb with 209
Fine with 136
Fowler with 106
Gouverneur with 101
Hammond with 173
Hopkinton with 221
Lisbon with 95
Macomb with 101
Pierrepont with 127
Potsdam with 120
Russell with 142
