Nature Up North will host events in Morristown and Canton.
On July 8, they will host a St. Lawrence River aquatic life exploration at Jacques Cartier State Park, Morristown, at 2 p.m.
They will cast for fish, search for frogs and use dip nets to catch dragonfly larvae. The program is for all ages. Participants should wear suitable clothing and shoes and bring something to drink.
July 15 at Wachtmeister Field Station in Canton will be a “Home is Where the Fairies Are” fairy house building workshop from 10 a.m. to noon.
There will be a 15-20 minute walk through the woods to gather supplies. No experience is necessary.
