POTSDAM -- John Rosemond, a psychologist publicist, author, and public speaker, recently visited the North Country.
He was invited by Northern Zone Association for Counselors and Development (NZACD) to speak to parents, educators and community members on March 28 at AAK Middle School, drawing 85 attendees, a much larger audience than was expected. The following day over 400 educators and community agency staff attended a second event at SUNY Potsdam's Snell Theater.
“Rosemond captivated the attention of his audience with humor and charisma,” said Christine Winston, Massena Central School District counselor and NZACD president. “His practical approach to parenting and teaching gave a lot of us something to think about. It was such a memorable and inspirational experience and we were thrilled to see this event come to fruition.”
