POTSDAM – A monthly climate action vigil will be held in Potsdam the second Friday of the month from 4-5 p.m. in front of the Potsdam Post Office on Elm Street.
The first vigil will be held Friday, Dec. 13.
The purpose of the vigil is to “bear witness to the human contributions to climate change,” work towards a science-based recovery plan and to raise the level of discussion about the climate crisis.
Several local organizations are organizing the vigil. A similar event is held in Canton at the intersection of Main and Park streets on the first Friday of the month from 4-5 p.m.
