AKWESASNE -- Mohawk International Raceway’s summer season continues tonight featuring the first round of the Frenchie’s Ford “Go Further” Sportsman Series plus a regular program for Modifieds, Mod Lites and Bandits.
So far Dylan Evoy has five Frenchie’s feature wins in the series, while Mike Maresca, Darryl Nutting and Mike Arquiette all claimed wins in 2013. The only other winner to date is Gilles Godard in 2012.
General admission for Friday night’s racing is $14 for adults and $12 for seniors. Kids 12 and under are free. Pit admission is $30 with DIRTcar license, and $35 without. All prices are listed in US funds; allow 10% exchange rate for Canadian currency.
Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and general admission area will open at 5 p.m.
Mohawk International Raceway is in Akwesasne, midway between the Seaway International Bridge to Cornwall, and the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. From Route 37, turn south onto Frogtown Road.
