LOUISVILLE – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies have arrested Stacey J. Putney, 37, Massena, after a lengthy investigation into the burglary of a residence in the Town of Louisville in late May.
Putney has been charged with one count of burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, and one count of conspiracy in the fifth degree, a Class A misdemeanor. It is alleged that Putney helped two other suspects who broke into the residence and stole money, jewlery and other items.
Putney was arraigned by Louisville Town Justice Virginia Gettman and released to the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department and will appear again in court at a later date.
The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending, according to Det. Sgt. Brooks J. Bigwarfe.
