Three women from Massena and Ogdensburg recently traveled to New York City to take part in Shape Magazine’s 2014 Diva Dash.
The Classy Cougars joined over 200 women that participated.
This race was at Tuxedo Ridge ski resort and included a 5K obstacle course run.
Race participants donned diva attire to promote awareness of women’s health issues.
The Classy Cougars finished in the top 25 percent of participants, according to team member Peggy Gibson of Massena.
She was joined by Melanie Wood of Massena and Johnnie Flynn of Ogdensburg.
