MASSENA – The Nicandri Nature Center is offering live reptile and raptor programs, yoga, strength and fitness class, nature walks and other events July 31-Aug. 8. All activities are free and open to the public. Highlights include:
• July 31: Live Reptile Program2 p.m.
• Aug. 1: Campfire cooking 10 a.m.; Live Raptor Program 2 p.m.
• Aug. 2: Camouflage in nature 10 a.m.; nature sketching 2 p.m.; Gentle Yoga 5 p.m.
• Aug. 3: All about Gypsy moths walk and talk 10 a.m.
• Aug. 4: Turtle weigh-in and care 2 p.m.
• Aug. 5: Learn about monarch butterflies 2 p.m.
• Aug. 6: Bug hunt 10 a.m; Nature crafts-snakes 2 p.m.;
• Aug. 7: Strength and fitness 8:30 a.m.; Beaver dam walk 10 a.m; Jr Earthkeepers Club 11 a.m.; Scavenger hunt 2 p.m.
• Aug. 8: Trail walk 9 a.m; Campfire cooking 10 a.m.; Live Raptor Program 2 p.m.
