MASSENA -- The Massena Memorial Hospital Foundation recently gave Massena Memorial Hospital $28,295, money collected at the 26th MMH Foundation Radiothon and Auction, which was held in May.
These funds will be used to pay for equipment upgrades in the hospital’s endoscopy unit.
“With the update to high definition endoscopy equipment provided by the MMH Foundation, we are continuing our mission,” MMH CEO Robert Wollebin said.
“Massena Memorial’s Endoscopy Department is one of the busiest departments at the hospital. With upwards or 60 procedures a week, the shear volume of patients that will be positively affected by this purchase is simply staggering,” said MMH Foundation Event Coordinator Julianne Fowler.
