MASSENA -- The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing Thursday on a proposal to build a motor vehicle repair shop.
Timothy Alguire will go before the board to request an area variance on two adjoining properties at 2279 and 2281 State Route 420. The two lots are a former garage and a vacant property.
Code Office Secretary Avis Hazelton said Alguire is requesting the variance because the lots are zoned neighborhood commercial and requires a certain road frontage per the code, which they don’t have.
The hearing will be June 16 at 4:30 p.m. at the Town Hall in the second floor boardroom.
The public may attend and comment.
