MASSENA – The St. Lawrence Centre mall will host its annual Independence Fireworks Community Festival on Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The celebration of Independence Day will feature vendors, carnival games, live music by Saving Dave and Merryweather, a show by Tragically Hip tribute band Fully Completely Hip and of course fireworks.
All of the events are free and open to the public except the Fully Completely Hip concert. Many activities will be held outside depending on weather.
The vendor show and carnival games begin at 10 a.m.
The band Saving Dave will perform at 11 a.m.
A petting zoo will be set up from noon-4 p.m.
The band Lone Wolf and the Spaghetti Corner Band will play at 1:30 p.m.
Nine different bounce houses will be set up from 2-8 p.m.
Merryweather will perform at 4.
Full Completely Hip will play at 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for the concert and can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/2WN40dr.
Fireworks begin around dusk.
