MASSENA -- A new director of curriculum will take the helm at the Massena Central School District for the upcoming school year.
Stephanie Allen will assume the post effective Aug. 8 at an $85,000 salary.
She will replace Evelyn Fiske, who is retiring from the office Aug. 6.
The district’s Board of Education will also consider candidates for two other administrative posts, athletic director and J.W. Leary Junior High prinicpal.
Timothy Hayes will retire as AD effective Aug. 6.
Burton Peck will leave Leary and return to teaching at Brushton-Moira Central.
Superintendent Patrick Brady said they have candidates for both jobs. The application deadline was Friday.
“We’re in the process of finalizing committees, setting up interviews,” Brady said. “We will have interviews within the next two weeks.”
