Mary D. Cadrette, 86, Lisbon

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Mary Cadrette will be held at 2:00PM at Saints Philip and James Church in Lisbon, NY on Friday, December 15, 2023, with Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Calling hours will be held prior to the mass from 1:00PM until the start of mass. A private burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton, NY. Mary D. Cadrette, age 86, of Lisbon passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY.

Mrs. Cadrette is survived by her husband, Euclid J. Cadrette of Lisbon; son, Michael (Kim) Cadrette of Central Square; daughters, Brenda (Ronald) Walker of Missouri, Denise Cadrette of Lisbon, and Kimberly (Mark) Fuller of Keeseville; brother, Lloyd (Sheila) Driscoll of Ogdensburg; grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany) Walker, Megan Walker, Corby (Deidra) Walker, James Fuller, Karissa (Lacey) Fuller, Austin Cadrette, Aidan Cadrette, Erin Cadrette, and Emma Cadrette; and her great grandchildren, Aubrie Annalee, and Maisy Fuller, Eva Mae Walker, Colin Dean Walker, and Meredith Rose Walker.

Mary was predeceased by her parents; a son, Lee Cadrette in infancy; brothers, Thomas Driscoll and James Driscoll.

Mary was born July 5, 1937, in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Joseph and Margaret (Trombley) Driscoll. She graduated high school from Lisbon Central School and later Harper Method Beauty School. On June 29, 1957, she married Euclid J. Cadrette at Saints Philip and James Church in Lisbon, NY.

Mary worked at Kays Beauty Shop in Potsdam, Alice Cordwell Beauty Shop, Edna Burwell Tax Service, and later Ames Department Store all while being a homemaker and raising her family. Mrs. Cadrette was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, making donuts, canning, traveling and mostly, spending time with family.
