MASSENA -- The man who crashed through a wall at the Quality Inn was cited for running a stop sign.
On Thursday around 11:35 a.m., Paul J. Bronchetti, 77, of North Main Street didn’t stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Danforth Place and West Orvis Street and rammed through the south wall of the hotel, police said.
Bronchetti told police he wasn't sure if the accelerator got stuck or if he went for the brake pedal but hit the gas instead.
No one was hurt.
