MASSENA -- A driver failing to signal properly has resulted in the arrest of a Bronx man and seizure of heroin and cocaine.
Christopher A. Lopez, 22, is in the St. Lawrence County jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond after being charged with a Class B felony, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
State police stopped a green Subaru early Tuesday after the driver, Brande L. Snyder, 36, of Massena, allegedly failed to signal for a turn onto Willow Street.
Lopez, a passenger in the vehicle, was found in possession of about 16.3 grams of heroin and 20 grams of cocaine, according to state police.
Lopez was arraigned in Village of Massena Court and sent to the county lockup.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on Sept. 3 at 1:30 p.m.
Snyder was released with a ticket for failing to signal for a turn.
