Lillian M. Fuller, 91, Antwerp

ANTWERP -- Lillian M. Fuller, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm with Reggie Curtis officiating at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur and burial to follow at Hailesboro Cemetery.

Lillian was born in Gouverneur on July 3, 1932, the daughter of Herman and Ella (Apple) Towne.

She graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1950.

Lillian married William M. Fuller on February 1, 1958 in Fowler.
Mr. Fuller, a retired employee of Gouverneur Talc, passed away on October 17, 2024.

Lill worked at Cheeseborough Ponds in Watertown, retiring after 20 years.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cheering on the NY Yankees and discussing politics but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lillian is survived by her children, David and Marcia Fuller of Gouverneur, Tom and Pam Fuller of Antwerp, Aimee and David Dygert of Gouverneur, Tammie and Reg Golden of Three Mile Bay, a former daughter-in-law, Rose Fuller, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great, great grandchild with another on the way. She is also survived by her sisters, Florence Ashley of Brasher Falls, Elizabeth Paro of Sandy Creek, Carol Venton of Gouverneur, Lorraine Hand of New Jersey, Virginia Towne of Boston, MA, several nieces and nephews.

Lill is predeceased by her parents, her husband, her siblings, Nelson, Richard, Leland, and Herman Jr. Towne, Kathleen Lamont and Mildred Cornell.

Memorial donations in honor of Lillian are encouraged to the American Cancer Society.
