OGDENSBURG -- The Lighthouse Band will perform a benefit concert at the Seaway Youth for Christ Impact Center, 31 David St., on Saturday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m.
The live show is free, and open to all ages, but a love offering will be accepted that will help raise money to repair the roof on the Impact Center, the former Ogdensburg Wesleyan Church, which is in dire need of a new roof.
Playing contemporary Christian music, The Lighthouse Band is comprised of Ron Bridges on guitar and vocals, Steve Bogart on bass guitar, and Rudy Schneider on drums. These talented local musicians have been making music together for several years and are pleased to lend a hand to help raise funds for the YFC's roof repair project.
Seaway Youth for Christ, organized in 1968, has a clear mission of introducing North Country youth to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The YFC Impact Center hosts monthly YFC activities and other faith-based events, including weekly meetings of the local Celebrate Recovery group. If you can't attend the June 1st concert you can still help by mailing your best tax-deductible donation to: Seaway YFC, P.O. Box 25, Brier Hill, NY 13614.
