In the final game of the season, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team fell to Vassar 14-8 on Saturday afternoon.

Clarkson finished their season with an 8-8 overall record and a 3-6 record in the Liberty League while Vassar is 10-5 and 6-3 in conference games.

Vassar scored the first goal of the game, but sophomore Ashley Flick was able to score at 21:46 to tie the game. That would be the last time the game was tied as Vassar uncorked five straight goals to take a 6-1 lead. Sophomore Kate Dillon scored off a pass from junior Christine Wright to make the score 6-2. The helper from Wright represented the 75th point of the year for her, which ties Clarkson's single-season record. Vassar would score with 23 seconds left to take a 7-2 lead into the break.

Sophomore Paige Fayette scored the first goal of the second half to make it 7-3, but Vassar responded with two straight goals. Flick scored her second goal at 22:15, but Vassar scored the next three goals to make it 12-4. Clarkson would score four of the final six goals, including Fayette scoring two to give her a team high three in the game. Junior Stephanie Lynch and senior Danielle Faivus added the other two.

Clarkson was outshot 26-18 and Vassar held a 12-9 advantage in ground balls. Junior Dani Tani played 45 minutes in goal, making five saves and junior Courtney Quinn played the final 15, making two stops in that time. Junior Emma Jeffery led the team with three ground balls with Fayette also scooping up a pair.
