POTSDAM -- Filmmaker and ecologist John D. Liu will present his talk “Choosing the Pathway to Sustainability: Ecological Restoration” at Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University in March.
Liu's presentations will take place in Clarkson's Student Center Multi-purpose Rooms March 3 at 6:30 p.m. and at St. Lawrence University's Carnegie 10 on March 5 at 7 p.m.
The talks are free and open to the public.
Prior to Liu's visit, St. Lawrence University will present a screening of his documentary "Green Gold" in Carnegie 10 on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
The film is a story of healing landscapes in China, Jordan, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Bolivia.
His film, "Hope in a Changing Climate," was first screened at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.
