MASSENA -- The Boys and Girls Club of Massena is the 2015 recipient of the Evan Jamison Fund.
The $200 scholarship will help fund the club’s youth programs over the next year.
Kathy Jamison presented a check Thursday afternoon to Boys and Girls of Massena Chief Professional Officer Debra Donatto.
Evan Jamison was a 20-year-old Massena High School graduate and SUNY Plattsburgh student who died on Aug. 15, 2010.
The scholarship fund is in his honor. After his death, it began with a benefit jamboree at Dar’s Restaurant in Massena, and later added a three-on-three basketball tournament.
Those interested in donating to the Evan Jamison Fund can send a check to Community Bank c/o Evan Jamison Fund, 121 Main St., Massena NY 13662
