HEUVELTON -- A Heuvelton man was charged Monday evening with making methamphetamine following a meth lab investigation.
Eric S. LaLonde, 29, of 4555 SH 812, was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal possession of marihuana, both, both Class D felonies.
LaLonde was arraigned before the Town of Oswegatchie justice and was remanded to the custody of the sheriff. He is to reappear at a later date for further court proceedings.
The investigation was conducted by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force detectives, assisted by sheriff’s deputies and task force members of the Ogdensburg and Gouverneur police departments.
LaLonde’s bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
Detectives say the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
