HAMMOND – If you are interested in EMS but not sure what it's all about, or maybe you’re thinking about serving your community but you’re not sure how, Hammond Fire and Rescue will have a meet and greet from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 at the fire station on Lake Street.
EMS Captain Tisa Martin invites everyone to meet with the officers and EMTs of Hammond Fire and Rescue.
You can learn what EMS is all about, and what the requirements are for training and becoming a volunteer.
This will be a informational meeting only.
