STOCKHOLM -- A Benefit for Tedra for Congress with music by Gretchen Koehler and Daniel Kelly and light refreshments from Big Spoon Kitchen will be held at The Hermitage, Robin McClellan's home, on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.
The genre-busting duo Koehler & Kelly set fiddle tunes ablaze with new grooves as they bring the authentic, raw energy of traditional dance music into irresistible rhythmic environments, states their website.
With repertoire inspired by Koehler's New England roots, their impassioned approach has caught the attention of the folk music establishment, most notably NPR's Thistle & Shamrock showcasing "Best New Sounds" from rising artists.
Barb Heller, on Folkalley.com, writes "Koehler & Kelly deliver The Picture and The Thousand Words.”
The Hermitage is located at 465 Old Market Rd., Sanfordville (Stockholm).
