POTSDAM -- The Kiwanis Club of Potsdam is selling raffle tickets now through July 17 with the grand prize of a one night stay at the Plattsburgh Comfort Inn Suite and Water Park with a $50 gift card to the Plattsburgh Brewing Company inside the Comfort Inn.

“This would make a great little getaway for a family or perhaps the start of a longer getaway to The Champlain Valley or Vermont,” stated Potsdam Kiwanian Marylee Ballou.

Tickets are $5 each or a book of 5 for $20.

The raffle offers many other prizes including two person, two games with shoes at Market Lanes in Potsdam with a large pizza from Pizza Hut; a $20 gift card to Chilly Delight; a $30 gift certificate to McDuff’s and two Roxy Theatre movie tickets; dinner for two at Sergi’s with two Roxy Theatre movie tickets; a $20 gift card to Little Italy with two Roxy Theatre movie tickets; a $30 certificate to Shear Creations; two free months of classes for one child at Sapp Martial Arts; a gift card to 2 Mama Birds in Brasher Falls; a family pass to the Thompson Park Zoo in Watertown; a certificate from North Country Oil Change and one whole sub from Jrecks; a Monroe Muffler oil change and a $10 certificate to Hot Tamale’s.

Potsdam Kiwanis will be selling tickets at local businesses soon and will have a table set up during Potsdam Summer Festival.

The Potsdam Kiwanis Club meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at the Potsdam Ponderosa at 6 pm. All proceeds support the clubs youth groups and programs.
