GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur man was sent to jail after state police responded to an alleged domestic dispute on Little Bow Road that occurred Sunday at approximately 10 a.m.
Ryan M. Kulp, 30, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to troopers.
Police said he allegedly choked the victim, threatened her with a gun, and damaged property belonging to the victim.
He was arraigned in the Gouverneur Town Court and released on $2,500 cash bail, police said.
