POTSDAM – A Gouverneur man was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated at three times the legal limit Thursday afternoon following a traffic stop on Main Street, according to Potsdam police.
Mica P. Gabala, 29, was charged at 5:16 p.m. with aggravated DWI, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without insurance, and inadequate exhaust, officers said.
Gabala was taken into custody and transported to the Potsdam Police Department for processing, police said.
He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of .24 percent, officers said. The legal limit is .08 percent.
Gabala was issued appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Village Court Dec. 20.
