WADDINGTON — More than 100 people gathered along the St. Lawrence River on Oct. 21 for a Glow for Awareness Walk recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The event, organized by River Soul Wellness, raised $1,061 for Renewal House of St. Lawrence County, thanks to community donations and support.
Organizer Taylor Putney Shantie, RN, said she was grateful for the turnout and the community’s support for the two causes.
