After reading the article “PCS Fine Tunes Admin Costs” (Daily Courier-Observer, March 30), I felt the need to set the record straight. Mr. Brady states that he has proposed reducing administration expenses by approximately $13,700. He then goes on to say that this would be achieved by reducing the district’s dean of students/athletic director from a 12 month to 11 month position, and doing the same with two secretarial jobs. Hmmm…since when is a secretary considered administration? Taxpayers beware. The district is claiming that they are cutting administration when in fact they are cutting CSEA clerical staff.
