Free movies to be shown March 7 - 28 at Massena’s Hawkins Point Visitors Center

MASSENA -- Free movie screenings will take place throughout March at the Frank S. McCullough Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center. All show times are 1:30 p.m.

• March 7 – "Captain Phillips" (2013) is the true story of the 2009 hijacking of the U.S.-flagged MV Maersk Alabama by Somali pirates. It stars Tom Hanks and is rated PG-13.

• March 14 – "Enough Said" (2013) is about a divorced woman who pursues the man she’s interested in, but learns he’s her new girlfriend’s ex-husband. It stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and James Gandolfini and is rated PG-13.

• March 21 – "The Butler" (2013) is the story of Cecil Gaines, who serves eight presidents as a White House butler while the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War and other major events affect his life, family and American society. It stars Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey; and is rated PG-13.

• March 28 – "Now You See Me" (2013) tells the tale of an FBI agent and an Interpol detective tracking a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money. It stars Josie Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson and is rated PG-13.

There will also be exhibits dealing with electricity and the St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Plant.
