POTSDAM -- Five Clarkson University faculty members were honored at a May 10 recognition ceremony for their excellence in the classroom and dedication to mentoring students.
• Engineering professor Thomas Holsen received the Outstanding Advisor Award
• Assistant Professor of Physics Jan Scrimgeour received the Outstanding New Teacher Award. This award recognizes teachers in their first four years at Clarkson
• The 2017 Outstanding Teaching Award was presented to Associate Professor of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering Marcias Martinez.
• Assistant Professor of Humanities JoAnn Rogers received the Residence Hall Association Faculty Award.
• Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering Chen Liu received the Tau Beta Pi Faculty Award.
