HOGANSBURG -- Massena Rescue and the Massena Fire Department were among emergency personnel called out to fight a blaze this morning at Big Boys Gas and Tobacco on Raquette Point Road.
Massena Rescue got the call at 8:30 a.m.
Massena Rescues A214 responded to the scene and joined Akwesasne Mohawk Ambulances 3 and 4 in a joint EMS operation, according to Massena Rescue Assistant Chief Randy Montour.
Massena Fire joined with Hogansburg/Akwesasne Fire and units from Helena Fire in quickly getting the blaze under control, Montour said.
The Franklin County Rehab team was also on scene to assist in medical efforts.
The fire was contained to Big Boys Gas station.
Over 37 emergency personnel were medically cleared on this call, said Montour.
All units reported back in service at 11:30.
