Fifty new cases of COVID-19 were reported to St. Lawrence County Public Health today (Tuesday, Feb. 23), bringing the total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to-date to 5,939.

To date, 5,431 cases have been released from isolation.

Twenty-one cases are hospitalized.

Eighty deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on Feb. 23 before 2 p.m.

Public Health said 209,233 COVID-19 tests have been performed as of Feb. 22; this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on Feb. 23 before 2 p.m.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only.
